Herman Edward Hawkins was born to the late Daniel and Marie Hawkins on April 5, 1943 in Akron, Ohio. Herman confessed his faith to Christ at an early age and joined Free Will Methodist Church, presently Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
On September 25, 2017 our beloved Herman went home to be with the Lord.
Herman was preceded in death by brothers William Hawkins of Cleveland, Ohio, Daniel Hawkins Jr. of Akron, Ohio; sisters, Jean Dalton of Cleveland, Ohio, Marian Elaine Hall, Harriet Helen Hawkins and Carolyn Ann Hawkins-Hollings all of Akron, Ohio.
Herman leaves to cherish his loving memory devoted brother Donald Nolan Hawkins (Ann); nephews, Curtis D. Hawkins of Akron, Ohio, Deshawn A. Hawkins (Mary) of Crystal lake, Illinois, Kenneth E. Hawkins and Donald D. Hawkins of Akron, Ohio; nieces, Star Walters and Ericka D. Burney-Hawkins of Akron, Ohio.
