Irma Jean Welch, age 69 passed away peacefully on Friday morning, December 4, 2015. Irma, daughter of Rev. Tommie J. Welch and Albertena Walker Welch (both deceased) was one of seventeen siblings. She is survived by four brothers and six sisters. One of the siblings, Wally Esther Welch Caleb, resides in Northfield, Ohio with her husband Jamie Caleb. Among other Ohio survivors are nieces Vivian Chambers, Cheri Arscott, Vicki Lorenzi, Terri Caleb and a nephew, Keith Mitchell. Prior to becoming permanently disabled, Irma was an elementary school teacher in the Richmond, California Public School System. After relocating to Cleveland, Ohio, she taught in the Cleveland Public School System and at St. Timothy Catholic School. A memorial service to honor Irma Welch’s memory will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at 11am at the UNITED FAITH CHURCH, 4030 Washington Pk. Blvd., Newburgh Hts., Oh 44105, where family will receive friends at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Healing Wings Ministries of Jesus Christ, 1082 Mimosa Dr., Macedonia, Oh 44056
