He was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Iron Jailen Cannon-Taylor went home to be with the Lord on October 18, 2020. He was born on February 16,1993 to Barbara Singletary and Michael D. Taylor at Akron General Hospital Akron, OH.
Jailen was a very affectionate soul he loved unconditionally. When he walked into a room his big smile was infectious to everyone around. When you needed someone to talk to, he was there with no question. He would even call you just to say, “I love you,” and to see how your day was going. Even as a child, he was a joy to be around.
He attended Buchtel High School and obtained his GED. Jailen wanted more out of his life, so he decided to gain full-time employment, where he made many more friends. Iron had a lot of plans set for himself, which included having kids of his own one day, being able to spend more time with family and chill while watching his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, he wanted to save money and take the steps to become man GOD designed him to be. However, he was taken too soon from his loved ones and his goals. All he ever wanted was for everyone to live their life to the fullest and to simply enjoy life.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents; Robert and Lee Ella Bagley, Jackie Singletary; grandfather, Jeremiah Griffin; uncles, Hiawatha Bagley, Reginald Vaughn Hilton, and Willie Singletary; cousin, Shawn Bagley.
