Irving Dominic Fincher age 49, passed away on November 8, 2022.
Irving Dominic Fincher BKA as “DOM’ gained his wings on November 8, 2022. He was born in Cleveland Ohio on March 3, 1973, to his loving mother Geneva Fincher. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Willie Mae Kenon. Irving was educated in the Cleveland Municipal school district where he attended Glenville High School. He was a very hard-working man. He was employed at Eastside Metals for 17 years as a machine operator, amongst working many other jobs. He always believed in working hard for what you want in life.
His passions included cars, cooking, traveling, music, and being around his family and close friends. His love for cooking was gained at an early age due to his grandmother who taught him how to cook. His favorite type of food to cook was soul food. Some of his favorites included collard greens, chitterlings, and oxtails. Not many could cook like him, which is why everyone loved when he did. Living life to the fullest was always his main goal. Although he worked a lot, he made sure to enjoy the fruits of his labor.
He always protected those he loved around him, and many people just loved being in his presence. Irving was a loving son, brother, cousin, and most of all father. He would sacrifice any and everything to make sure that his kids were always taken care of. Nothing made him happier than seeing his children thrive and accomplish whatever it was that they wanted out of life.
Irving leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, three children: DaiJonte, Ashley, and Shau’Nita. His mother: Geneva; two siblings: Aaron and Eric. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who he loved dearly.
