Isaac Jones Jr. “Ike” was born February 25, 1938, in Caretta, West Virginia, to the late Isaac Jones Sr. and Annie Mae Jones. Ike was the sixth of twelve children.

Ike accepted Christ at an early age while attending Shiloh Baptist Church. He graduated from East Technical High School in 1958. In 1965, he married Mary B. Young and to this union three beautiful daughters were born. He worked at Ford Motor Company for 30 plus years where he retired. There he also served as a Union Steward for the Local 1250 United Auto Workers. Very active in politics, he was a Councilman for the City of East Cleveland, Ohio.

On July 4, 2023, Ike left this world too soon and he is dearly missed but resting well. Preceding him in death, was his loving wife of 41 years, Mary B. Jones, beloved grandson Billy R. Jones, parents, Isaac Jones Sr. and Annie Mae Jones, sister, Dorothy Reese, and brothers Andrew Jones, Nathaniel Jones, Johnnie Jones, and Willie Jones.

Ike leaves to cherish his memories, his Loving, Devoted and Beautiful daughters, Sheila A. Slaughter “James”, of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, Angela R. Wheeler “Marion Jr.”, of Beachwood, Ohio, and Sonya M. Jones, of Louisville, Kentucky; Grandson Marion G. Wheeler III “Dramelle” and a very special adorable Great Granddaughter Dream D. Wheeler, of Beachwood, Ohio; Sisters, Bernice Glenn of Cleveland, Ohio, Lillie Slaughter of Norfolk, West Virginia, and Fannie Tolliver of Lynchburg, Virginia; Brothers, Robert “Theresa”, Jimmie and David of Cleveland, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
