Jacqueline L. Brock, also known as Jacci, was born May 27, 1970, to Tracey A. Brock and Dale Loftin.

Jacci attended and graduated from Akron Public Schools and was a well-known bartender for over 20 years.

She was a woman of many roles; mother of Tegan, Rosheda, and Kennedii, grandmother of Payton and Ajani Jr., sister of Stacey, niece of Vikki, loving partner to Lewis, and a genuine friend to so many people. Jacci loved hosting and had the ability to make all feel welcome so performing her duties in these amazing roles of her life looked like a breeze. Jacci truly embraced the role of “Grandmother,” or as her grandchildren affectionately called her, “Ganny.”

Jacci was an avid reader and enjoyed singing, jewelry-making, and especially, spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to sing and was often captured singing while tending bar. Her voice was as beautiful as her spirit. She will be missed by so many.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Tracey A. Brock.

She is survived by daughters, Tegan Brock, Rosheda Walker, and Kennedii Brock; sister, Stacey Brock; father, Dale Loftin; aunt, Vikki (Michael) Thomas; the love of her life, Lewis “Lee Lee” Short; and a host of cousins and friends.

Jacci had many friends, who have been by her side for many years. There are too many to name, but you all know who you are and where you stood in Jacci’s life.
