Jacqueline Mills was born on June 4, 1948, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Albert and Janice Thomas.
Jacqueline graduated from John Addams High School in 1966 and attended community college for a short period. She was a faithful member of Body of Christ Assembly in Cleveland, Ohio, under the guidance of Bishop Eric Kincaid Clark.
Her career was dedicated to serving others as a social worker with Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA), where she retired as a supervisor. She was passionate about working with the elderly, finding great joy and fulfillment in her role.
Jacqueline shared a loving marriage with Oscar Mills and was a devoted mother to Kef Adams and Michael Adams. Her family brought her immense joy, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A woman of many interests, Jacqueline had a particular love for shopping, with a special fondness for shoes. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family and community will be deeply missed.
Jacqueline is survived by her spouse, Oscar Mills; her children, Kef Adams (Roni) and Michael Adams; her siblings, Curtis Thomas, Yvonne Clark, and Vanetta Clark (Leonard); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Janice Thomas, and her grandparents.
