It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of James LeTroy Perry, age 41, on July 12, 2024. James was a cherished grandfather, father, son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. His warm spirit, boundless generosity, and unwavering commitment to those around him made him deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born on January 7, 1983, in Cleveland, Ohio, James grew up in the southern Ohio region. From a young age, he showed remarkable athletic talent and excelled throughout his years at West Carrollton High School. His dedication and drive extended beyond sports, as he went on to serve his country with honor as a combat veteran in the U.S. Army.
James’s entrepreneurial spirit was evident in his diverse business ventures, which included successful online enterprises, entertainment projects, and real estate investments. His innovative approach and steadfast work ethic earned him respect and admiration from colleagues and peers.
A passionate traveler, James often sought out new horizons and experiences. Most recently, he spent significant time in Medellín, Colombia, where he actively engaged in philanthropic efforts, working to create opportunities and improve the lives of those in need. His selfless contributions to the community reflected his deep compassion and commitment to making a positive impact in the world.
James leaves behind his beloved daughter, Nevaeh Perry; his devoted mother, Tami Hodoh; his supportive father, James Perry III; his caring sisters, Tiana Hinton,Taleyah Graves and Ja’Lisa Green; his cherished grandson, Jaheim Perry; and a vast network of family, friends, and associates who were touched by his kindness and generosity.
