Ms. Janice Dupree was born in Macon, GA to Luther R Durden and Leola Durden on November 11, 1955, and passed away on December 23, 2024.

Janice attended Warner Road School in Garfield heights and join Providence Baptist Church at an early age.

Janice attended the Beachwood Workshop and Maple Hts. Workshop as a production worker, where she received multiple awards for her service there.

Working was her passion and she never missed day!!

She enjoyed being with her co-workers and many friends and loved telling you about her day.

Affectionately known as Jan, she enjoyed music, dancing, singing, getting her hair done and polishing her nails. Most importantly she loved being among family and friends.

She would always greet you with that beautiful smile and a warm hug.

She loved being an auntie and great auntie, she lavished her love on anyone that crossed her path.

She was proceeded in death by Luther Durden (Father), Maggie Lee Yates (grandmother), Ivory Yates (step grandfather), Emanuel K Lowther (grandfather) and a host of aunties and uncles.

Janice is survived by her mother Leola Durden, sisters Bernice Stanley-Gilbert, Larry Gilbert (brother in-law), Lucretia Durden, Marcita Durden-Caffey, Murry Caffey (brother in-law), Steven Givner Sr (brother in-law) and bother Ricky Stanley.

Nieces: Neia Thomas, Latoya Givner, Letoya Bell, Anna Lisa Durden, Tineshia Barbee, Tyrone Barbee (nephew in-law).

Nephews: Steven Givner Jr, Luther E Durden and a host of great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
