It’s just such emotion. I know Geegi is with our Lord but this is the first time since her passing I’ve been able to express anything without the tears. She is a remain a gift from God and I will let the following speak my heart. I love beautiful lady. There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love. Washington Irving

I had the pleasure of meeting Geegi as she and my son Chaz become very good friends in a short period of time. I could tell that she had a beautiful, & caring spirit. Chaz would often call me and then get a call from Geegi. He would say "Mom, this is Geegi, I'll call you right back", needless to say that did not happen!!! He and Geegi would talk for hours (smile). I will keep the family in my prayers.
Cleo left a message on April 2, 2021:
Condolences to the family of this beautiful woman. I met Jeanetta at the dental office. What a blessing she has been to me in the short time that I have known her. She taught me how to play the lottery. She would often come in and tell me how she had won the lottery. Whenever she came in, it felt like I was in the presence of Royalty. I loved seeing and talking to Jeanetta and am looking forward to seeing her again in heaven?
Willie Peterson III left a message on April 2, 2021:
A style of her own, exuding glamour and grace, Ms. Doby's presence was never ignored, just enjoyed. Though young in her departure, she fulfilled a federal career in service to the Veteran community and was in excellent fellowship with co-workers; she'll be remembered, she'll be missed.

What a wonderful soul . I have never met anyone with her many special gifts .She had it all brains , beauty , personality , sense of humor , kindness and talent . I hadn't seen Jeanette in years but I met her at the VA when she first started .I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet her and spend time with her . I had never met anyone that every time I saw her I would start to smile instantly because I knew she would say or do something that would make me laugh . My heart breaks for the loss of such a beautiful person. Jeannetta always had a kind word, welcomed everyone with her smile, cared for those around her and went above and beyond without ever being asked to do so. She always made me feel welcome at VA events and groups. I know she took extra special care of Will while doing her very best job for the VA each and every day. I will cherish the memories and take comfort in knowing you are with God, shining bright and watching over us. Dance on girlfriend, I'll meet you on the dance floor soon enough xoxoxoxo
Dave Stillman left a message on March 31, 2021:
I always called her J-Dob!! We met when the VA had just opened the call center and I would say we were friends from the very first few days. She was always (in my experience) such a joy to talk to, with quick wit and 99% of our conversations resulted in smiling and laughter. I have remarked to several others since hearing of her passing, that she was always very nice and very sweet to me, and I have never forgotten her kindness, nor will I. Until we meet again J-Dob...rest in peace ❤❤❤

In my life you brought happiness and joy. You, GG, made me laugh. Your ever optimistic outlook had a profound effect on me. You never ceased to amaze me. You were a gift from God in my life and I know you’re with The Lord. While we mourn your absence in our lives, Heaven, is having a concert and you’re the main attraction. I love you and I miss you immensely.
