Joe Ann Groce was born Sunday, February 27th,1955 in Steele, Missouri to the parents of Clara Pearlean Dewalt and Joe Nathan Wilson who both preceded her in death. Joann was the second oldest out of seven children.

Joann and family relocated to Cleveland, Ohio in 1966 where she later attended Kennards Junior High school and graduated from nursing school. She later worked for Sherwin Williams and Blue Coral

Joann was the “Greatest Mother” to her five children. She also was the Matriarch of her family. She was loving, Kind, a great listener, never judge mental ” The Happiest” just as sweet as can be, but don’t let that fool you !! Couldn’t just get anything over on her.

Rose touched so many lives, her peers, daughters’ friends, and anyone she came in contact with. She was also a Nurturer especially to her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and Annie (Mary Alice) who she cared for until her passing December of 2023

She leaves to Celebrate her Legacy

Her children Keith, Debra, Dorecha ,Joanna and Jasquella, Step Daughters Jocelyn(Alfred) and Antoinette, Siblings  Joe(Nellie) , Michael(Lynette), Mary Alice, Pearlean(Willie) and Alan ,One brother in law Pete(Lynn) Groce and Sister in law Bonnie, 14 Grandchildren Dominique, Angelia, Lamar, Morris, Shamika, Moesha, Keiasia, Breonna, Keaven, Jahmera, TiNaeja, Trillion, NeVaeh-Denise and Jream-Rose(due in may) 7 step grandchildren Ja’Cedes, Alexus, An’Neisa, Juran, Jashawn, A’Keyra, and Sir Marvin 12 great grand 5 step great grand 24 neices and nephews(especially her Favs),Her Children step dad Earnest White Jr ,Special friend Mike, host of great nieces, nephews, bonus children, family and friends.

Joann, Mommy, Rose, Grandma, Jo, Auntie Rose Mama Rose/Jo whichever name you may have been known by WE ALL WILL TRULY MISS YOU ❤️
