Jose Guillermo Lopez Pena, age 55, entered into eternal rest on December 20, 2025. He was a beloved son, a devoted father, and a man whose life was defined by a quiet dignity and a deep appreciation for the world around him.
Born to Blanca Lopez and the late Rafael Lopez, Guillermo was a pillar of calm for his family. He was known by those closest to him for his meticulous nature and his appreciation for order. Guillermo found comfort in routine, taking great care in the details of his daily life and ensuring that everything he touched was handled “just right.”
Beyond his orderly exterior lay a vibrant spirit fueled by the culture of the 1980s. He was a devoted fan of the music of that era, with a particular fondness for Michael Jackson. His family will fondly remember his enthusiasm for classic cinema, most notably his love for Ghostbusters, a film that brought him lifelong joy.
Guillermo’s quiet humor and steady presence left an indelible mark on everyone he met. Though he was a man of few words, the depth of his character spoke volumes through his kindness and the passions he shared with those he loved. His humor will live on and carry us through life until we meet again with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his loving mother, Blanca Lopez; his daughters, Paola Lopez and Jessica Lopez; and his former wife, Suzy Barrientos. He also leaves behind his sisters, Monica Wenzel and Pamela Escobar, and his brother, Sergio Lopez, as well as a wide circle of extended family and friends who will miss his unique perspective and gentle soul.
He is preceded in death by his father, Rafael Lopez. His memory will be cherished in the hearts of all who knew him, as we find comfort in the knowledge that love endures all distance, even from heaven to earth.
