Joseph Allen, affectionately known as Joey was born November 2, 1957, and spent most of his life in Cleveland Ohio. He was a cherished member of the Ohio Shared Living Program with REM Ohio, where he found a true sense of family and belonging. Joey had a vibrant spirit and a warm heart. He loved being surrounded by people and thrived in a family setting. Known for his sharp sense of style, Joey took pride in dressing up and especially enjoyed attending cookouts and events with the family and loved ones he made through the program. Joey touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His joyful presence, kind soul and genuine love for life will be deeply missed. As he departs this world, Joey is now free, soaring beyond the bounds of this life, embraced by peace and light.
