Juan Mack Lane Sr. was born December 9, 1982, at Mt. Sinai Medical Center to Sherry Jones and
Juan Long. He passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, with his wife by his side at University
Hospital Parma Ohio.

Juan accepted Christ at an early age while attending Community Baptist Church in East
Cleveland, Ohio. He was a happy child with a giving heart and a strong spirit. He attended
Cleveland Public schools and enjoyed participating in chess clubs and art classes. Juan graduated
from Collinwood High School in 2000 as he battled cancer. After graduation, he went on to work
for several years at Time Warner Cable as a dispatch clerk. In the years that followed, he worked as
a customer service agent for Target and William Sonoma and held a supervisor position at S&P.
After overcoming several health crises, Juan pushed through and eventually came to work for
Provide-A-Ride as a driver. He often said he enjoyed the job because “he understood what his
passengers were going thru, and he enjoyed their conversations.
” In order to move his family
forward, Juan decided to enroll in truck driving school and was one week away from graduation.

On February 9, 2011, Juan married Krystann (nee Stallings) Lane and together they loved and
cherished two sons, Ellijah and Juan Jr. They were excited to add his young cousin Mekhi, to their
home. Juan was a loving man that enjoyed time gaming with “His Boys,
” his brother and his friends.
He also enjoyed growing plants, creating beautiful fish tanks, and dabbled in various kinds of art.
Those that knew him often experienced his comical caricatures of other people. On some evenings,
Juan could be found in the courtyard of his apartment complex working the grill for his family and
neighbors. He enjoyed people and touched the hearts of those that met him.

Juan will be lovingly remembered by his wife Krystann (Stallings)Lane, his boys Ellijah Jahan
Nazzir Lane, Juan Mack Lane Jr., his parents Sherry (Pops -Louis) Jones, his father Juan Long, his
grandmother Margaret Lane, his brothers Derile (Lisytte) Baskin and Ryan (Shayla) Jones, his
sister, confident and partner-in-crime Krysten Lane, his sisters Tiffany (Roberto) Smart, Deniah
Long, Tamia Long, Alleyh Long, his mother-in law Jacquetta Stallings, and a host of aunts, uncles,
cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
