Julia L. Hutchinson went home to be with the Lord on September 2, 2018. Julia is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerome Hutchinson, and her parents, Joseph A. Garrett and Inez E. Smith. Cherished mother of Donna M. Hutchinson and Stacy M. Hutchinson (Donte El Shaka). Loving sister of CSM Edward E. Garrett (retired), Patricia Polk, Joelita Marsh, Linda Gamble, Lawrence Garrett, Stephanie Burrell, and preceded in death by Joseph Garrett and Vincent Smith. Grandmother of Alexandria A. Hutchinson.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Julia. She was one of the beautiful people I had ever met. I will miss her hugs. May the Lord be with the family in their time of need.

My deepest sympathy and love sent to Julia's family and friends. A bright light in this world has passed. Julia was one of the most creative quilters I know always trying something a little daring with gorgeous colors that set off her gorgeous hair. She always had a good word to say and her smile lit up the room. Loved her sass, her intelligence, her mischief, and her beauty. Rest in Peace Julia and I hope you have joined your beloved Jerome. I will miss you dearly my friend.

I got to know Julia thru my guild. She always greeted me with a smile, hug and "How you doing?". Julia will be surely missed. I'm so sorry and my prayers goes out to her family.

To the family; Julia was so supportive in my time of need. Always there to lend a hand or to lift you up. Always encouraging and a smile that lit up any room. She gave the best hugs. She will be deeply missed.
