Sassy, spunky, loving, caring.
Kamarla Arlise Briggs was born on August 11, 2008, as a gift to her parents, Marlon Briggs Sr., and Lanisha Underwood. They both loved her unconditionally. Moo Moo, as we affectionately called her, entered this worldwith a fight on her hands.
Moo Moo was born and raised in Cleveland, OH. She attended Cleveland Preparatory School ICAN from kindergarten to seventh grade, where she was a true OG. Kamarla was a bright light always shining in a dim room, she made an instant impact on anyone she encountered.
Barbies, Italian and Mexican food, and the color blue were her favorite things. Kamarla, this fierce little lady, had no problem letting her daddy know what she wanted. Oh, and if you didn’t know, she was the ultimate daddy’s girl. She also loved taking care of her “Favorite Guy” Legend who always said what they said.
We were so used to her winning and beating every battle heart failure threw at her, we failed to realize she was tired.
On the quiet morning of June 30, 2022, with her mother by her side, Moo Moo closed her eyes on earth and opened them in heaven where she was greeted by her grandfather and grandmother.
Kamarla leaves to cherish her loving memory her parents Marlon Briggs and Lanisha Underwood; siblings Shawnisha Wilson, Jamya Young, Marvell Jackson, Kiara Briggs, Marlon Briggs Jr., Ciara Collins, Sashe Davis, Elathia Williams, Legend Briggs; grandmother Sheryl Underwood; uncle Ben Stewart III and aunt Shay whom she loved very much. She also leaves a host of extended family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ben Stewart Jr. and Sandra Briggs and aunt Vanessa Briggs.
