For God so loved Kathleen (Pelzer) Thomas, that he rendered to her a life of love, peace, joy, and happiness.

On Thursday November 4, 2021, God called her home. Kat was born October 11, 1923, in St. Matthews, South Carolina, to the late David and Julia Pelzer. She was united in holy matrimony on May 5, 1941, to the late Abe Thomas. To this union six children were born, Irene Wynn (Coleman), Edwin, Julia Rhone (Rudolph), Jeanette, Jacqueline, and Gregory.

She was a faithful member of Pillar of Faith Christian Center, under the leadership of Pastor Verna Craighead Green.

She loved holidays, having company, cooking, feeding the neighborhood, spending time with her family, helping others, and providing a home for the displaced.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters: Irene Wynn (Coleman), Julia Rhone, and Jeanette, 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 7 great- great grandchildren, as well as a host of relatives and friends.
