Keith Johnson was born on December 7th, 1971, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Richard W. Johnson and Annie P. Stephens. Keith departed this life on July 30th, 2023, at the age of 51. He was educated in the Bedford Heights school system where he graduated from Bedford Heights High School. Following high school Keith served in the armed forces of the United States where he received several awards and certificates.
Keith had a passion for sports at an early age. It started with little league baseball that grew into football, skiing, and golf. This is just to name a few. His love for the game led him to his coaching career. He was part of the football coaching staff at Benedictine, Cleveland Fusion, and Bedford Heights track team. Keith worked as a referee as well. Keith loved the game of golf and would get a game in no matter where he would travel.
Keith held various positions within his career. He was a certified blackjack dealer at Horseshoe Casino, sales consultant for BMW and most recently a mortgage broker.
Most of all Keith loved and enjoyed traveling with his friends. He loved to help all who he could. His radiant smile and good vibes will forever be remembered. The love that he had for each friend, colleague, and student will be sadly missed. He will be remembered for all the laughs we had together with him, for all those specials moment and all the good times. We will miss hearing “What up Doe”
Keith is survived by his mother Annie P Wheeler, two brothers Michael and Reese (Toni) of Lakeland, Florida. Three nephews Nathan, Malik and Jalen one niece Nyelle and one great niece Layla. Best friend Fannie Guerrido, a host of cousins and friends.
Keith will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. We will always carry his memory with our hearts.
