KenMetria was born on December 12, 2010 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a beautiful, happy, and loving child who touched the lives of those who knew her. The affection she displayed was so contagious that you couldn’t help but to laugh and smile in her presence. Her favorite colors were red and purple. She loved school. She was a 7th grade student at Garfield Heights Middle School, where she was exceptional in all of her academic studies. She was a fast learner and absorbed knowledge like a sponge. She would be excited about learning new things and socializing with her friends.
When she wasn’t in school her hobbies included drawing, doing gymnastics and she was very athletic. At a very young age KenMetria was able to do back flips and cartwheels as if she had been doing it her whole life. Things just came naturally to her. She was a good skater. She loved competing with the boys to show them that she could beat them in anything….even fighting. She also enjoyed playing games on her tablet. One of her favorite things to do was to make dancing videos on TikTok. She had such an angelic voice when she would sing, that was astonishing. The notes that she could hit in a song would literally give you goosebumps.
KenMetria showed an abundance of love for her family. She really loved her big brother. One of his fondest memories of her was how KenMetria would create crazy food dishes and use him as her taste tester. She was responsible for introducing him to putting ranch dressing on his hotdogs, which he still eats to this day. She was the best big sister to her younger siblings, the best aunt to her nieces, the best big cousin even to her cousins that she just met. She enjoyed cooking and eating spicy foods also eating her favorite homemade fudge made by her aunt Viv.
KenMetria was very ambitious. She had her future planned. She was already an aspiring hair stylist. She took on the responsibility of doing the hair of the younger children in her family. She also wanted to venture into becoming a nail technician but her ultimate goal was to become a traveling nurse so she could provide care for people all over. Her nurturing and protective spirit would have gotten her very far in life because she took care of everyone around her.
