Kenneth Lee Brown, Jr. (aka, “Boo, Bugg or Ken”), 51, of Cleveland, Ohio, was born on September 11, 1971 in South Williamson, Kentucky, to Kenneth Lee Brown, Sr. and Queen E. Brown. He was called unto eternal rest on Friday August 18, 2023.
At an early age, Boo accepted Christ, as a member of the Baptist faith and was baptized. As a child, Boo participated in church plays and singing in the choir.
Boo attended East Williamson Grade School in Williamson, West Virginia, Cammack Middle School in Huntington, West Virginia, and Glenville High School in Cleveland, Ohio.
Boo had a personality and smile that would light up a room. He was charismatic, comical, generous, caring, and kindhearted. Boo had a very big heart and always put others’ needs before his own. He would give his last or even take the clothes off his back to make sure others were “good”. There was never a dull moment in his presence, and he touched and influenced so many lives.
Boo always had a passion for his motorcycle and cars. He enjoyed riding his Harley with friends or solo. Family meant everything to Boo. He enjoyed traveling and hanging with family and impromptu family game nights that involved playing cornhole, po-keno, uno, listening to old school music and engaging in deep conversations. Boo adored his two grandchildren and loved having them around and being involved in their extracurricular activities. Boo also enjoyed hanging out with his childhood friends and his E. 131st family. During his down time, he enjoyed watching HGTV and helping his best friend, slick, complete home improvement projects. Boo had goals and aspirations, but God had other plans for his life as it was deemed that his mission was completed here on earth. Boo will be truly missed and may his love and memories live forever.
Boo was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Preston and Elizabeth Clayborn, who were instrumental in his early rearing; also, his paternal grandparents, James and Ella Mae Brown; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Left to honor and cherish his memory are his parents, Kenneth Lee Brown, Sr. and Queen E. Brown. Three daughters; Kenise Brown (Quinton) of Cleveland, Ohio, Kenaisha Brown of Cleveland, Ohio, and Alicia Jackson of Cleveland, Ohio; two granddaughters; Paisley Clemons and Parker Clemons. Four sisters, Cordelia Albritton of Beckley, West Virginia, Cornelia Clayborn of Concord, North Carolina, Jacqueline Clayborn of Hope Mills, North Carolina, and Keyonna Smith of Cleveland, Ohio; one brother; Kevin Smith (Carlyce) of Cleveland, Ohio; three nieces; Jasmine, Sydney, and Kendyll; one nephew; Jordan; two bonus moms Chi and Diane; Godbrother Jerome Smith; Special friend Angeline Boyd (Redd) and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, friends and his E. 131st family.
