Kent Alvin Douglas was born on July 13, 1948, to the union of Walter Anderson Douglas and Kathryn Elizabeth Nichols. He lived in the Glenville area and graduated from Max S. Hayes High School on Cleveland’s west side. Kent was baptized at an early age at Aldersgate Baptist Church. During high school, he met and married his childhood sweetheart and lifelong partner, Cynthia Willis on September 21, 1968. After their honeymoon period of four years of marriage, they bought their first home and decided to have children. Their union bore three children, two boys, and one girl. Kent was employed at TRW for 3 years and retired from Reuter Stokes/General Electric as a Production Supervisor after over 30 years of service.
Kent was a devoted husband and father. Kent also always had a passion for fast cars, collective cars, motorcycles, and vacationing with his family and friends which included traveling to various locations in and outside of the United States. Though he was a quiet, introverted man, plenty of family gatherings, family parties, and happy celebrations were so much a part of his life.
