Kenyon Michael Lamont Morgan was born on August 25, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Kenyon and Valerie Morgan. He was the beloved brother of Gwendolyn, whom he cherished deeply. Kenyon was also the great-nephew of the renowned inventor Garrett A. Morgan, known for his groundbreaking contributions, including the invention of the first traffic signal (light), gas mask, belt fastener for sewing machines, and amongst a host of other inventions.
Kenyon accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1990 at Emmanuel Temple Church, where he was baptized.
Kenyon was preceded in death by his sister Gwen and his eldest son, Adam. He leaves to cherish loving memories of him and to mourn his passing; his daughter Christine; his sons, Anthony, and Sean; three nephews, Theodore Pickett, Lamont Pickett, and Lawrence Pickett; one niece, Karen R. Williams; as well as a host of cousins, other loving relatives, and friends.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
