Leatrice Kent went home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2022.

Leatrice is survived by her children, Debbie Farmer, Diane Williams, Donna Kent, Darlene Kent, Jonathan Kent (Christine); siblings, Shirley Lee (AL), William Tisdale (Carla), Wendy McKelton; grandchildren, Alcia, Yolanda, Keneth, Sherod, Bryan, Rayshaun, Davon, Tanya, Alex, Julian, Xavier; great-grandchildren, Kelise, Keneth Jr., Nathan, Shawn, Spencer, Brandon, Nyla, Brianna, Bryan Jr., Brishae, Khalil, Carter, Rhegan, Rylee, Reiss, Jaden, and Makhai.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mary Boyland and William Tisdale, sister Marion Davis, and two great-grandchildren Kameron and Rowen.

Heaven is a much better place since the arrival of Ms. Kent. We met five years ago but it seems that I have known her all my life. She lovingly embraced me and my boys and became the unofficial Godmother, always advocating for them to have another piece of cake, candy, or something sweet. She will be remembered very fondly and missed very much. Earth has no pain that Heaven cannot heal.....but this one will take time.
