To the family, i want you all to know that Lee is and will always be a part of our hearts here at the VA. Lee exemplified what it means to be of maximum service. Lee has touched so many lives both veteran and non veteran, Lee went well above the call of duty to support his fellow veterans including me. There is a huge void in my heart and it is broken and my mind is boggled because i can't believe you're gone and the sting of it all is very evident in the VA, many hearts are broken and we want you to know that we love you and we are grateful for and to you for being you. Thank you for never stepping down from being a servant to become a king! Lee, you have earned your reward and now you have received your Crown of Glory and you long white robe.. THE LORD IS SAYING TO YOU SIR...WELL DONE THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT, ENTER INTO THE JOY OF THE LORD!! WELL DONE LEE SHEPHERD, WELL DONE!!! Thank you for being my friend and brother. Nadine and family we are all praying for your strength and healing, our sincere condolences to you all.
