Leone Demar (Cowling) Ruff was born on February 4th, 1990 to L.V. Alex Wells and Sheila Cowling-Wilcox in Akron, Ohio.

Leone had a passion for detailing cars and dreamed of opening his own car detailing shop. Leone loved his children and his family very much and always kept a smile on his face no matter what.

Leone passed away at the age of 35 on December 17th, 2025 in Akron, Ohio.

Leone was predeceased by his grandparents, Betty Jean Cowling, Mae Walker, and Maebelle and James Ruff, his father L.V. Alex Wells, his mother Lois Ruff, his brothers Danny Ray Ruff and Johnny Ray Hughes, and his sister Candice Latoya Cowling.

He is survived by his children, Leone Jr., Charles, Kion, and Leone; his grandmother Barbra Wells; his mother Sheila Cowling-Wilcox; his father Danny Ruff; his sisters, Da’Shika, Tanika, Angel, April, Darnella, Breanne (Greg), and sister-in-law Esther. His brothers, Da’Mone, Antwan, Julius, Alexander, and Andre. His uncles Raymond (Sylvia), Chuck (Audrey), and Guy (Cathy) Ruff; Victor (Meya), Calvin, Kevin and Taye Wells; his aunts Sabrina Edwards, Sonya (Scott) Jarvis, and Nancy Wells; nephew and niece, Rayniere and Essence Ruff, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Leone was a kindhearted man, a great son, brother, and friend.

While we mourn the loss of Leone, we take great comfort in knowing that he is in a better place.
