Margo Valgean Anderson was born on June 19th, 1943, to the late Calvin Allen and Mary Frances Allen-Pritchett. She was the third born of eight children. Margot Anderson attended Sterling Elementary School, then she went on to Addison junior high school, where she met Robert Anderson in 1958.

Robert and Margo married in 1987. Four children. One daughter, Michelle Allen, and three sons, Darian Allen, Mario Anderson, and Jason Anderson. Margot was a dedicated wife and mother. She took care of her children and a host of nieces, nephews, grandkids and friends. Family came first and was above all else to Margo. She was known for her unwavering love for her family and her generous spirit.

Margo enjoyed reading, traveling, shopping, cooking, gardening and arts and crafts. She also loved giving and attending gatherings throughout the years. One of her favorite songs was down home blues. This was her way to live life with a great sense of community. Margo Valgean Anderson, 82, passed away peacefully on August 4th, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving husband and family.

She leaves to adore and preserve her memory, her loving husband Robert Anderson, four children, Michelle, Darian (Anita), Mario (Cherie), and Jason. Grandchildren, Monique (Augusta), Alicia, Philicia, Taujahree(Morace), Jason, Shawnie, Julien, Thomas (Deceased), Quinton (Deceased). Great-Grandchildren, Augusta, Austin, Ayce, Amari, Zayd, Karter, Jason, Morace, Ma’lani, Ma’Khi. Siblings, June (Deceased), Alice, Jerry (Deceased), Larry (Deceased), Skippy (Deceased), Robert Stevie Allen, Gloria, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins and friends.
