Marlene Evans went home to be with the Lord on October 31, 2016. Marlene is survived by her beloved family. Cherished mother of Navarro Evans, Cheryl Evans, Vernessa Banks and Alyce Sweeney. Loving sister of Willistein Westerfield, Myrna Fort, Renee Carter and Lancelot Madox. Grandmother of 12. Great-Grandmother of 36. Great-Great-Grandmother of 1.

Marlene, I have not seen you in sooo long, but I WILL NEVER FORGET you and I will forever hold on to my memories of coming to your house on sundays with my dad Tony. Rest Peacefully, Auntie!! One of the hardest condolences to write - most of my memories growing up circle around my aunt. We would get up every Saturday morning around 7a to go to her house where we'd stay & play all day. So much of my life has been a repeat of hers. My mother would always say - "you're just like Marlene", you have 'that' just like Marlene, Marlene would do this - you should do that... Wow, I'll miss you, auntie... Thanks for everything! Much love always!!
