My deepest condolences to the family. Be strong in the Lord. Weeping may endure for a night but Joy comes in the morning. It was a blessing and privilege to know Marlene.. we met in Barbados in the 1990”s and remained friends. I will always remember her beautiful spirit. Love always Suzanne.

Marlene was indeed a godly woman. She was wise, faithful, dignified and strong. She did not just talk the talk of a Christian woman. She walked the walk. Marlene will be missed by many. I pray that God will wrap His loving arms around her family and her friends to bring comfort to them.

Family, You have my heartfelt sympathy during this time of bereavement. I will always remember Marlene as a beautiful, intelligent neighbor from my childhood on Gay Avenue. My prayer is that the fond memories that you all have will sustain you during these difficult days to come. May her legacy uplift you and her kindness never cease to bring a smile to your face.

To Dennis and family. I am saddened to know that Marlene is no longer with us. I worked with her at Lear Siegler and fondly remember her warm smile and pleasant personality. Please be comforted knowing that God has promised that “there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous” and “all those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus voice and come out.” She will be missed until we see her again!

Kenneth C. Powell left a message on April 24, 2021:
Marlenes beautiful smile and genuine kindness put her in the category as one of my favorite cousins . I recall my aunt Carrie did a little birthday celebration for my dad who is Carries brother. We had a nice time as always. We were about to leave town and Marlene bought my young daughter and some of my young nicest little purces as parting gifts. If I can remember correctly she even sponsored a little trip to Dave and Busters arcade for the girls. A complete caught off guard moment. She was more than the physical she was sweet through and through spiritually .I will miss seeing you here but I will see you again and your smile and love will be with me for eternity. Much love and Condolences to the family from the Powell family.
