You were very kind, caring, loyal, but what I loved most was how tough you were!! You didn't take anything from anyone and would correct us even when we were grown if you felt we hadn't done right. I shared the news of your passing with very close friends and described your character. They said "Krista, um... that sounds like you!" Indeed, it does!! I rejoice with you as you are where we long to be. Life well lived Auntie Krista

To the Only Sister-in-law I’ve ever had. Martha Carolyn Williams another link in the Chain has been broken In the Family.God has spoken let the Church say Amen.To my brother Marshall Jr.and my Nephews and their wives.Carol has her CROWN. Thank you Jesus. We shall meet again. We All have to hold on to Gods Unchanging Hand.Carolyn would be saying if you could see me now.Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I’m following the path God laid for me,I took his hand when I heard him call; I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day,To laugh,to love to work or play Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared a laugh a kiss; Ahh yes these I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you sunshine Of tomorrow. My life’s been full I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seems all to brief Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your head and share with me. God wanted me now.He set me free. Humbly submitted until we meet again. The Clopton and Williams Crew Gone But not forgotten Memories forever.???
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Verlie & Constance Norton left a message on April 4, 2021:
To the family of our Sister in Christ, Mrs Martha Carolyn Williams, We, would like to express our heart-felt sympathy to you and your entire family at this time of bereavement. In times like these it may be difficult to lift up your heads. That is why in these times we find strength in the word of God, which instructs us to lift up our heads and look to the hill from where I help comes. Our help comes from the Lord. For the Lord of Host says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10) This life is like a whisper in the wind. We only have a few short moments together before we all have to depart. Thanks be to God that Death has no victory over those who put their trust in the promises of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We who believe, can say to our loved one in confidence, “rest in peace until we meet again.” So, family be encouraged to stay in the way of Christ. He has made a way for us to enjoy fellowship with our beloved again. You are in our prayers. Keep the faith. Prayerfully Elder Verlie Norton & Sis. Constance Norton

ADAM WOODFIN left a message on April 1, 2021:
"Mom" Williams was someone who I could talk to about any situation I dealt with and receive nothing but words of encouragement. When I finally bowled my first 300 game in 2016, I got very emotional. My teammates and other bowlers congratulated me, but "mom" opened her arms, gave me what I call a "mama hug" and said only four words to me: "WELCOME TO THE CLUB!", then I got emotional by shedding tears of joy, again. She treated me like a son and I respected her not only as a mother, but a very strong African-American woman. I'm sure she'll meet my mother, if she hasn't already, and they'll have quite a bit to talk about. I will truly miss her. I love you "MOM".
