One of her proudest moments, aside from cheering for her grandkids, was her 2014 GED Graduation and Ceremony where she was able to walk the stage at Tri-C and receive her High School Diploma at the age of 84.
Nicknamed, The Old Grey Fox by her California grand-daughters, she leaves behind a legacy of love including children: Rubin Davis, III (deceased); Ezra “Bro” Davis (Adriene); Charles Davis Sr. (deceased); William “Billy” Davis (Debbie); Helen “Candy” Monroe (Jimmy); Mary “Sweet Pea” Alverez (Juan); Hank Davis (Gwen); stepson Carl Gross, over 30 grandchildren, great-grand-children, and a host of relatives and friends
