Mary Elizabeth Hatten passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Continuing Healthcare of Cuyahoga Falls.
Mary also known as Honey was born and raised in Greensboro, Alabama. Later, she moved to Birmingham, Alabama, where she met and married her now deceased husband, Cleveland Hatten, Jr. They moved to Akron, where Mary worked and retired from Akron Children’s Hospital.
She was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church until she became ill and unable to attend, but she continued to Praise and Worship God.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Dorothy (James) Earnest; son Cleveland (Ilean) Hatten III; five grandchildren, Stephanie (Eric) Raines, Darlene Earnest, Candi McAdory, James (Lydia) Earnest Jr., and Darnell (Danay) Hatten; eight great grandchildren, She`, Makia, Bria, Jade, Markayla, Lyla, James III, Jace; two great-great grandchildren; her special friends like daughters, Geneva Gay and Doretha McDonald and a host of other beloved family and friends.
