Maurice was welcomed into the world by his parents, Wanda and Sherrion on Monday, April 1, 1965. Maurice was everybody’s favorite. He was the first-born grandson and was proud to be the “oldest.” He was the greatest son, big brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, great-uncle, and friend anyone could ever ask for. Our memories are filled with his every joke, karate kick, dance move, food, and his faith!
Maurice symbolized his dedication to God and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1993. Dedicated and unwavering in his commitment to his faith, this now would become Maurice’s treasured experience and purpose in life.
After his retirement Maurice, continued to share his faith and love of God by teaching and sharing the Bible’s message of comfort and hope with others. He was never focused on acquiring lots of material things or trying to gain access to popular activities. Maurice remained firmly focused on dignity, family, and faith. He loved nothing more than being a big brother, uncle, cousin, friend, and a Witness. He loved spreading the good news of God’s Kingdom and the future promise of a paradise earth. He faithfully served Jehovah for 34 years. Maurice was a devout servant of Jehovah until he passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7th at the age of 60.
