Mildred was an infamous Barber that owned her beautifully decorated Barber Shop which was highly popular and always full. That’s Our Mildred!
After closing her barber shop, she opened Mildred’s boutique on Warrensville Rd to help
support her love for fashion, shopping and getting dressed every day! That’s Our Mildred! She loved her high heel shoes with her legs shown to the world. She used to wear high
heel shoes while mopping the floor as a teenager. That’s Our Mildred! One of her favorite places to shop was in New York City. Mildred took sewing classes at Murtis Taylor Recreational Center as she wanted to learn to make her own fashions! Mildred recently retired from the County Administration Building in downtown Cleveland. She is known for her candid nature, always in charge, keeping her property beautiful (even in

Mildred had a very devoted daughter In Jacqueline Sims and in her latter years, they became even closer friends. Mildred “did things her way” and was unapologetic about it. That’s Our Mildred! She always stated that she loved having such beautiful grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was very proud of them all. That’s Our Mildred!
