Minnie Geneva Reddick was born on March 21, 1926 to the late Earl and Cindy Edmondson in Charlote, Tennessee. She was the 2nd of 14 children and the oldest girl.
Geneva, affectionately called Two-Mom, married and gave birth to her only child, James Williams. Two-Mom relocated to Akron, Ohio in 1956. She married Cephus Reddick in 1957 and remained happily married until his passing in 1981. In 1973, Two-Mom’s younger sister, Euvila, passed away unexpectedly. In true big sister form, Two-Mom took in Euvila’s 4 children. Two-Mom was a member and usher at Wesley Temple prior to joining Mt. Olive Baptist Church where she was an usher as well.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Early Lee, Less, Harvey, Herchel, Robert and Van, sisters Euvila, Lillie, Jane, Nina and Pearl.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son James Williams of Houston, Texas, grandchildren Marcus and Chanel Williams of Houston, Texas, great-grandchildren Domonique and Trachey. Bonus children, Sandy, Theresa (William), Kevin (LouAnn), and Keith (Pam), bonus grandchildren Joy, Brent, JR, Domonique, and Melea, special niece, Gayle and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
