Minnie Louise Dudley Hughes Tyler, known to everyone as “Louise”, was born October, 1933 in Osierfield, GA to the late Willie Frank Dudley and Rebecca Walker Dudley. She is preceded in death by husband, Clifford Tyler; sister, Annette Granger and brother, Roland Reams; daughter, Willetta McCray; son-in-law, Freeman McCray Jr. and great granddaughter, WarnieJae McCray.
Louise grew up in Jackson Beach, Florida and moved to Akron, Ohio, where she remained until her passing. She enrolled and graduated from Cosmetology school and specialized in hair weaving, which led her to be one of few in Akron for many years. Louise’s career as a beautician lasted for over 60 years, working in various hair salons throughout Akron, Ohio and Ravenna, Ohio, where she met many people who became her close friends.
Louise was a great cook and loved to cook for family and friends as her house was always open to receive them.
Louise loved life, loved the Lord and loved her family and friends. She was a devoted member and missionary of Hill’s Temple until she was unable to attend.
