Morgan Lawrence Jackson (Moe), 23, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2023. He was born September 14, 1999 in Cleveland, Ohio to Tracey Jackson and James Woodland. Morgan was an excellent role model and big brother to Alyssa Hicks, and twin brother to Logan Jackson.

Moe graduated from Ginn Academy class of 2017. Following graduation, he never went without a job. He helped in any way possible at home, while ensuring to stop and enjoy the fruits of his labor. He was entertained by quality foods, traveling, and buying only the best brands.

Morgan’s bold character caused most to judge, but those who took their time to understand him knew he had no ill intentions. He was definitely “A force to be reckoned with” and one that will truly be missed.

Moe spent his adolescent years forming relationships, learning new skills, and creating memories that will be cherished for life. Will, Morgan’s best friend, and Reginald, his “brother from another mother” built bonds with him that cannot be put into words.

Morgan was preceded by, but not limited to, his grandfather Johnny L. Jackson, and aunt Dejohnne H. Jackson. The love waiting on Morgan at those gates are plentiful. This event is very unfortunate, but God called him home. His departure not only leaves mourning parents, Tracey and James, but his sisters Logan, Alyssa, Toni, Jasmyne, Coco, and Chanel; grandparents Ruby and Michelle; uncles Miguel, Sean, and Raymond; and his aunt Yolanda. Also, a host of cousins and close friends that cared for him dearly!
