Ned Patrick, Jr. was born in Canton, Ohio on January 29, 1945. He graduated from Garfield High School in 1963. He later was employed by Bridgestone Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, retiring after fifty years of service.
Ned was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he looked forward to the promise of the resurrection. A time when all will be made new under God’s Kingdom/Government arrangement, where death and sickness will be no more!!
Ned will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, he had a love for all people. The joy of his life was his family, especially his wife, children, and grandchildren. Ned passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 12, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ned Sr. and Mable Patrick; and his siblings, Allen Patrick, and Jane Patrick.
Left to cherish his memory, are his loving wife, Christine; his children, Nikole (Laemar) Merchant of Houston, Texas, Shinita Patrick, and Corey Patrick both of Akron, Ohio; six grandchildren; sisters, Frances Johnson and Gail Patrick; special niece, Apryl Edwards-Garrett; as well as a multitude of relatives and friends.
