Noella Hewston-Jackson, age 65, gained her angel wings on June 27, 2024. Noella was born at St. Ann’s Hospital in Cleveland, OH, to Tommie Berry and Oracene Faye Berry.

She was named after St. Ann as her father said that she was his Christmas baby.

Noella married Perry Jackson of Cleveland, Ohio and spent 35 beautiful years together in which they welcomed their daughter Constance Noel.

She was preceded in death by her mother Oracene Faye Berry and sister Kaye Marliece Elder.

Left to celebrate Noella’s beautiful life is her father Tommie Berry (Judy), husband Perry Jackson, son Charles Berry, daughter Constance Jackson, siblings Tommie Berry Jr., Jane Elzoro Berry, Garey Steven Berry, Tyrone Berry, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Noella accepted Christ at an early age. She went to Jane Adams high school where she pursued an interest in their cosmetology program.She then found her true passion working in healthcare for over 40 years at St. Luke’s Hospital and St. Vincent Charity Hospital.

In her spare time, she loved to sing in the church choir, fish, garden, travel, and spend time with her family and friends. Scenic car rides to get ice cream were especially popular in her older age.

Noella was the life of the party. With her smile and spunk, she created lifelong memories with those she loved.

Our beloved Noella, thank you for blessing us with your presence and being apart of our lives, God called you home too soon, but your memory lives on through us and we promise you will never be forgotten.
