My condolence to the family of Ozie. Auntie was the coolest person I met a couple years ago. We had a long conversation and she invited me to her church.

My dear aunt Ozie. Forever loved and forever remembered. We will truly miss you and your eccentric personality. May you rest peacefully and continue to party upstairs with your sisters and other loved ones that will welcome you at the door of your new home.
My prayers goes out to the family. She was so sweet and enjoyed the time with her. I saw her last at Austin’s (my sons) birthday party. She had such a fun spirit and will surely be missed.
I met Mrs. Roddy when I joined the ICUA. I must say she was a dedicated usher. She always stressed, "The Right Way." She will be missed. Rest in Heaven Sister Roddy.
It was truly a pleasure knowing your Mom, Auntie, Sister and friend.
She was beautiful inside and out. Always a pleasure to be in her company. God's blessings and comfort upon the family.
Much love. Ms. Ozie was a Beautiful, Funny, and Classy Lady whom I come to know through her lovely daughter Deb aka (Gee). The times my family and I spent with her we always laughed and had a great time. Auntie....I’m going to miss you. The way you were happy to hear or see me then you would get on me in a loving way. Going to miss that beautiful smile that made us all feel like you were a part of us and we can come to you about anything and it will stay right there. I felt so special when you placed my son’s picture on your Facebook page and I know it was because he took the picture right after church and we all know that you wanted us to have a relationship with God. Rest well beautiful queen! You left an indelible impression in our hearts

I learned from Mama Roddy what complete and total dedication was. Live Carrie's a demonstration and she was certainly the uptime of it! She was a persistent soldier for Christ. I will never forget her addictive personality and beautiful smile. My endless love goes out to the family forever. God bless.

To one of the Mothers of 122nd Street. Thank you for being a guide through my journey. Thank you for making your home open to a simple kid. I will never forget.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Sis. Roddy was always kind to me while I attended Fellowship. She reached out to me recently even. God bless her soul. Your family is in my prayers.
God is the father who is full of mercy and all comfort. Even if you walk through a dark valley, He will be there to comfort you.
Please accept our deepest condolences in the passing of your loved one. Mrs. Roddy was our instructor at the ICUA school of Ushers. She will be dearly missed. May God continue to bless you and your family.
Ms Roddie was one of my instructors at the ICUA. She was a giant at the city, state, and national level of the ICUA. She will be truly missed. God Bless
I was floored by this! The last time I seen Sister Roddy was the last time I was in Church on Sunday March 15th, 2020. Sister Roddy was getting on me after Church about the family bus trip and if I was going or not. So I apologized for not getting back to her right away because it was going to be a last minute decision for me depending on my work schedule. Me, Sister Roddy and her sister Myna were all talking about being glad, we were able to come to Church despite all the Chaos of the Covid-19/Corona Virus pandemic. Sister Roddy was the type of person that took her responsibilities very seriously and got things done. Me and her son Luther had been good friends for a long time before I had a relationship with Sister Roddy. Fellowship brought us all together and it's been very special to have such a good relationship with the Roddy Family. I will miss Sister Roddy dearly and she has been a been a faithful servant of God's Kingdom and I know all the Angels in Heaven are singing praises unto God that another one of God's saints has come home. I send my condolences out to the family and prayers that you are encouraged in this difficult time. We love you Latif Hughes and Family.
Stopping by to offer my sincere condolences on your loss. I will always have a special spot for Ozie in my heart. We worked together at the Post Office. I left in 1997, but will never forget her. My fondest memory is how she always invited me to give up cigarettes for Lent each year. I finally did in 1986 and haven't smoked since! I'll always be thankful to Ozie for that. Another memory is how she always invited me to come to church. I never did come, but one summer she invited me to a celebration of famous black women in someone's yard. We had tables decorated with all different colors and the food at each table matched the color of the table. She assigned me a famous woman to tell the group about. It was a great time! Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God comfort and keep you and may your memories sustain you.⚘
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
