“Her love lives on in every heart she touched.”
Patricia Pulliam, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was born on January 13, 1951, in Pascola, Missouri, to Dora Fuller Ferguson and Otto Ferguson, Sr. She grew up in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and later moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where she built a life centered on family, faith, and service. She passed away on December 30, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion.
Patricia was the baby of twelve children, a role that suited her gentle and caring spirit. Of her siblings, three remain with us – Isaac, Thelma, and Otto Jr. – who continue to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Ronald Dwayne, whom she carried in her heart every day.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her three loving children: Sharon Denise, William Anthony (Tony), and Sesam Shawne, her twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Patricia devoted her career to serving others through her work at the VA Hospital. While in Poplar Bluff, she worked in Medical Records, and after moving to Cleveland, Ohio she became a Coding Auditor, at Louis Stokes V.A Hospital – a role she was deeply passionate about. She took great pride in her work, and in helping others, always striving to give her best.
She was known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and her steady willingness to support those in need. Whether through her work, her family, or her friendships, Patricia always found a way to uplift others.
In her personal life, she found joy in watching soap operas, visiting the casino, listening to music, and drawing inspiration from motivational speakers. A deeply spiritual woman, she believed in a higher power and leaned on her faith throughout her life.
Above all, Patricia cherished her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and she took great pride in each of them. Her love was unconditional and unwavering.
Though Patricia Pulliam has left this earthly life, her love, wisdom, and spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
