Patricia Harris affectionately known as, (Pat, Pork Chop, Patty, Auntie Pat, Friend, Sister, Daughter, Grand, and most of all MOTHER) has gained her wings. As of December 31, 2024 our world as we knew it has forever been altered.
Our Mom was 30 days away from her 68th birthday. Born to Annie and Essex Hayward, January 30, 1957 right here in Cleveland, Ohio. Pat was the second oldest of seven (7) siblings. She attended the Cleveland Public School System ending up at John Hay High School; which is still standing today.
Our Mom married young. In 1975 her and our Father, Richard tied the knot. Their love was genuine, it was shown and shared with all family, and all of you too. Patty really did find her soul mate. They were meant for each other and with this union they ended up with three girls and four Grand boys, their GRAND, so lovingly called them. Our Dad proceeded our Mother in death, making her a widow after 43 years of marriage.
Pork Chop retired after working 39 years for the United States Postal Service where she held many positions over the years. Our Sister started out as a Processing Clerk on the LSM machine, In-plant Support Clerk, General Office Clerk, she was always chosen to be the Combined Federal Campaign Loaned Executive. Daughter was also a Customer Service Lobby Greeter, Cafeteria Monitor, and the Advice table Manager. You could ride pass a particular window (in the cafeteria) and see our mom at (work) giving coworkers advice.
Auntie Pat’s past two years have been spent traveling the world. This lady have really gotten her passport stamped every month, coming home with tales of all her adventures and new budding friendships.
If you had the chance to spend any time with our Mom, it was time well spent. She truly loved people and helping others, by telling you what you could and should do for any situation in life. This lady was very well rounded. Her family, friends, and this room show how meaningful relationships form and last.
