My heart and prayers go out to her family. Especially to her mom Francine Taylor ((NaNa). I have known and loved this family for a long time. I wish I could somehow cradle and protect them from this loss. A special prayer also goes out to her children and her dad Eddie Joe Hicks. The Taylor family will always be my sisters and brothers. Still now I talk about Mrs Ruby Parker, respectfully known as my play mother. Love y'all always.

When I say this hit hard, still in denial, we went hard, her loyalty was everything. Very angry for you fighting a fight without me....I love you cousin, but you knew that. What's understood don't have to be explained. I wasn't ready but God was...keep the Taylor and Oneal family in prayers. See you cousin when I get ther.#TAYLORS2THEDEATHOFME#

My sincere and deepest sympathies to Pomona’s family. She was a big part of our team and will be so deeply missed. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to share her knowledge. Her laughter was contagious, and I will miss her honesty as well. Her smile would brighten the darkest of days. I wish her peace and joy in her heavenly home. She touched so many lives in so many ways, and made it look so effortless. She was a beautiful person inside and out. We are all better for having known her!

My deepest sympathies to Pomona’s family, friends and Co-workers. We worked together for about 18 years and had many good times back in the day hitting up the Casinos at 2 am in Detroit. going to miss you so much girlfriend! She loved her distilled water and we would make fruit enhanced water for our team at work. She had a big heart and lit up the room everyone loved her. I remember her always trying to teach me to accessorize when we would head out she was always dolled up and so pretty “would always say Teresa it is all about accessorizing” And she loved her shoes and purses! So grateful I was able to visit with her 2 weeks ago and take her some things to cheer her up like a bottle of her favorite water and a blanket to keep her warm she hated to be cold.
