Ricky smith was born May 10, 1960, known to many as Smitty.
He was the second child born to Queen Esther Smith and George Felton. Ricky grew up in the East 30th and community college where he was very proud of his DTW community. He attended east technical high school and later went on to have a career in carpentry and plumbing which he enjoyed and took pride in. He was a hometown fan of all Cleveland sports team, but he especially loved his Cleveland browns. Ricky was a master at chess, and he loved to play poker and other card games. Ricky was passionate about his family especially his children and grandchildren one of his strongest attributes was how he protected his loved ones and proclaimed himself the “big kahuna” of his tribe. On November 16, 2022, he was called home to be with the lord. Ricky was preceded in death by his mother Queen Esther Smith; his father George Felton; his 2 brothers Felton and Carlos and his daughter crystal Nicole. Ricky leaves to cherish his memory his children, Antonio, Tabitha, Aaron, Amy, Ricky, and Devin; his brother Aubrey smith; also, Frederick Jean and Ericka who he loved just as much as his own; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Ricky will always be remembered for his aggressive style of love and his infectious smile. He will be greatly missed by all that he touched and loved.
