Robert accepted Christ as a young man and was baptized at Christ Temple Apostlic Church, under the leadership of our Bishop, Laurence E. Nevels Sr.
Robert fathered six (6) children; Robert III, Taiya, Ryan, Nehemiah, Faith & Elijah Pollard.
He attended St. Jude Elementary school until his parents moved to South Euclid, Ohio. He then attended Lowden Elementary, Memorial Jr. High school and graduated from Charles F. Brush in June of 1996. Following High school Robert attended The University of Akron.
After leaving The University of Akron he worked as a CNC Machine Operator for many years. He later attended Remington College graduating with a Medical Assistant certificate. He utilized his certification at NEON & Cleveland Clinic.
Robert started an AAU team “The Future Rookies” . Through coaching, Coach Rob mentored a lot of young boys throughout Cleveland, who some have advanced to the college level of basketball. He loved to fish, a hobby he got from both of his grandfathers.
He was a family man for sure! He loved his children & family. Everyday at 12:30pm he called his mother and they discussed the greatness of God and the blessing He placed in their life.
He was blessed to meet his first grandchild on January 6, 2025.
Robert is preceded in death by his grandparents: Louis & Mary Pollard and Edward Fritz. He leaves to cherish his life: His children, Robert, Taiya, Ryan, Nehemiah, Faith, & Elijah Pollard, His Parents Robert & Donna Pollard, Brother Rondelle (Tameisha) Pollard, his sister Donna (Claud) Brown, his grandmother Charlesetta Fritz, Great Aunt Rose Pollard and his first Grandchild Royalty Nicole. He also leaves a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins & friends.
Robert departed this earth and entered Heaven on January 28, 2025 at 5:32pm
