Robert Nicolas Brown, affectionately known as “Bobby,” passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 56. Born on April 20, 1968, Bobby was a cherished son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was a quiet yet lovable soul, known for his generous heart and his ability to bring laughter to those around him with his dry sense of humor.
Bobby graduated from American Senior High in Miami, Florida, and went on to work as a skilled Metal Finisher and Grinder. His passion for his work was matched by his love for life, where he found joy in various hobbies and interests. Bobby was a talented artist, loved puzzles, and was a trivia expert. He also had a deep love for sports, especially basketball and football, and could often be found shooting pool with friends or enjoying the outdoors through fishing and other activities.
As a child, Bobby’s creativity and adventurous spirit were evident in his many escapades, from building igloos in the snow to jumping into creeks and creating avalanches. He idolized Michael Jackson and had a special love for cars, with one of his favorites being the 442 Cutlass. He also inherited his father’s love for the Cleveland Browns, sharing countless memories watching games together.
Bobby was a gifted cook and loved spending time with family and friends, making lasting memories with his infectious laughter and warm personality. He leaves behind his beloved parents, Robert and stepmother Diane Brown; his sisters, Robin and Lauren Brown; his brother, Ryan Fortes; his aunts, Rosalynd Gilliam and Elaine Jerdine; his uncles, Mark and William Green, and Reese Jerdine. Bobby was also a proud uncle to nieces Courtney Smith and Marleigh Andrews, and nephews Noah Williams and Cordell Smith. He will be dearly missed by his special cousins, Brandon, Johnathan, and Ericka, as well as his close friends, Bogg and Ken, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Bobby’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though he may be gone, his legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
