Robert “Tony” Ivery was born on November 16, 1948, to Junior Lee and Cynthia Ivery. Tony accepted Christ at a very early age, building a foundation of faith that guided him throughout his life.
A proud graduate of South High School, Class of 1968, Tony went on to work various jobs before finding his long-term career with Milo, where he dedicated many years of service before retiring.
After retirement, Tony enjoyed spending his days outdoors, tending to his garden with care and patience. An avid music lover, Tony was known for his impressive record collection and his remarkable ability to name any song and the artist within seconds. He also had a deep love for movies, collecting films from every era.
Tony cherished sharing memories, stories, and laughter with his family and friends. His humor, kindness, and joyful spirit touched the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Junior Lee and Cynthia Ivery; his brothers, Mack, Arthur, and Lee Ivery; and his sister, Suzzane Ivery Neal.
He leaves to cherish his memory: brothers Larry (Fay) Ivery and Melvin Ivery; sisters Gertha Jane Byrd, Judy Ivery, and Karen Isaiah; sisters-in-law Vera Tomcsik and Elizabeth Ivery; brother-in-law Kerry Neal; Aunt Novella Ivery; nieces and nephews Lee Ivery Jr., Bridget Ivery, Bounaaly (Cheikh), Cameron Blaky, Carmen Herring (Andre), Matthew Ivery, Cynthia Ivery White (Jeff), Kendra Ivery, Angela Palmer, Melvin Ivery Jr., David Ivery, Karen Tomcsik, Ericka Neal, and Erin Neal; as well as a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, and other beloved family members.
