Robert Winters, Sr. is survived by his loving wife of 68 years married, Josephine. His children Geraldine Hurns, Robert (Gwendolyn) Winters, Riley (Brenda) Winters, Gilbert (Jeanetta) Winters, One sister Jessie Lee Lotte of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; His grandchildren Romelle, Ramon, Chandra, Robert III, Ricardo, India, Van Darrell, Tierney, Devin & Mark (Andrea), nieces & nephews; six brother and three sister that proceeds him in death and a loving daughter Patricia A. Winters. Robert has a host of great & great-great grandchildren, family and friends.

My deepest Condolences Auntie and Family. You will continue to be in my prayers during this time of family loss.

My heart’s heavy right now with the thought of you being gone, though I know that you’re in the best hands ever. Granddaddy, we’re not saying goodbye, we’re saying, see you later. We love you and we thank you for being our grandfather for over thirty (30+)plus yrs of our lives. We thank you for all your good advice even though we didn’t always follow it. We thank you for teaching us how to be men, and for showing us what “family” really means. We thank you and we’re grateful for you accepting us and never being ashamed to call us your grandsons. You and Aunt Tricia take care of each other until we all meet again. We love you granddaddy and we miss you... Your grandsons Greg and Herbert Wilson
