Robert, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear Roberta. I have wonderful memories of you two as dynamic and long term members of the garden group, part of the covenant between Mt. Zion Baptist and Bath UCC churches. Thanks for all you contributed to that group.

2 Corinthians 5:8 "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." My condolences goes out to you and the family Deacon Shares. I pray that God will overwhelm the family with comforting love during the time of your bereavement. This is such a unfortunate time for the whole world and suffering the loss of your life partner cannot be easy for anyone. We share in your mourning and always remember the words of Apostle Paul (Romans 8: 38-39) "For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, - nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord". Shalom, may the God of peace be with the whole family.

Aunt Roberta my wife and I have told you that we loved you and Uncle Robert many times, but not one of those times when I talked to you and Uncle Robert or just talking to you did I know that it would be the last opportunity I would have to tell you that I loved you Aunt Roberta. I appreciate how you and Uncle Robert took my wife in and made her feel part of our family. Aunt Roberta you have always been a family oriented person. You have always been an encouragement in my life. I appreciate you Aunt Roberta. I will always remember when I was a little boy and you and Uncle Robert got married. Aunt Roberta I remember the first apartment that you and Uncle Robert lived in off Thornton Street. It was up stairs, and I don't know if Gramp was ready for that, but he climb those steps didn't he to see his baby Daughter all grown up and married in her first appartment. I remember you sent Gramp a water melon back with Uncle Lee and Net and I kept playing around until it dropped on the ground. Between Gramp and Uncle Lee I do not have to tell you what happened next. I remember you telling me how Gramp introduced you and Uncle Robert. Boy did you have a smile on your face when you were explaining to me. Aunt Roberta Fred would always call me and let me know that he had talked to you. Even on the days that mama was not feeling good she would want me to know that she talked to you. Thank you for being there for me all my life Aunt Roberta. We will miss you Aunt Roberta and say hello to Gramp, Granny, Aunt Ethel, Aunt Barbra, Aunt Flora, Aunt Betty, Uncle George and Uncle Lee and Daddy and Aunt Roberta don't forget Uncle Roberts Brothers and his sister.
