Rodney Delmar “Rambo” Willis, born April 7, 1959, to Joseph and Coletta Willis in Cleveland, Ohio, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, after spending both Thanksgiving and Super Bowl Sunday surrounded by the love of his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rodney’s legacy lives on through his children: Trinity, Sydnee, Virlawnda, Rodney Jr. (Tyesha), Romeo, and Sunee; and through the love of his life, Kimberly. He is also survived by his brothers Marlon, Riccardo (Antoinette), and Russell; his sisters Dorothy, Martha, and Judy; nine grandchildren—Armani, Giovani, Sa’miyaa, LaKardiar, Naeem, Kiing, Nova, Ny’Cere, Ny’son (preceded him in death), and Ny’lan; and three great‑grandchildren—Jay, Fiona, and Nevada. He also leaves behind a special niece, Yazzy, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who cherished him.
Rodney Delmar “Rambo” Willis lived boldly, loved deeply, and left an imprint on every life he touched. His voice, his laughter, and his spirit will continue to echo through the generations he leaves behind.
