Ronald Ross was Born on July 20, 1958 in Mobile, Alabama. He moved to Cleveland, Ohio as a child at approximately 10 years old. He was raised by his stepfather Leo McNair (deceased) and his mother, Inez Ross (deceased).
Ronald received his formal education from the Cleveland Public School system.
He accepted Christ as his savior at a young age and attended Baptist Churches.
Ronald worked for many years as a Cement Finisher for Great Lakes Construction. One of his projects involved building the Mausoleum at Lakeview Cemetery and parts of Cleveland State University. Ronald paid it forward by getting several friends and family members part time work with the company. Ronald also had the hobby of working on cars. Many people depended on him for his services.
As a child, he enjoyed riding bikes, bowling and hanging out with his friends. As an adult, he enjoyed attending Norwalk Race Track to view races and big trucks. He was in a motorcycle club and used the handle, Bumble Bee. He loved playing cards including bid whist and poker.
Ronnie was truly blessed with people who loved him when he got sick. Many family members and friends stepped up. His sister Laura, however, went the extra mile. She provided care on a consistent basis with love and at times sacrificing her own care. Same with close friends Deandre and Canary. They were there regularly and even when needed with short notice.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a son Antonio Oliver Sr., 3 grandchildren, Antonio Oliver, Jr., Anjella Oliver and Kamryn Oliver; 3 step children from a prior marriage, Randy, Brittany and Kevin Ballard; Three Sisters, Pamela Osborne (Al Osborne), Laura McNair (Reggie Yarbrough), Karen McNair; One brother, Keith McNair. Uncle Leonard James Ross, Sr,; Nieces, Cena McNair, Tanisha McNair, Shantelle McNair, Jada Webster, Britany McNair, and Toya McNair; Nephews, Daryl McNair, Sr. and Jerry McNair along with a host of friends and extended family.
